Ann – Certified Paraoptometric (CPO)

Lab Manager – Creighton

Ann joined our staff in 2006. She has personally benefitted from Vision Therapy, so you can talk to her directly about how this can improve your child’s reading and learning. She also takes medical and visual histories, measures vision at distance and near, measures color vision and depth perception, takes blood pressure and pulse and blood glucose, checks side vision and measures eye pressures. She also uses an auto-refractor to estimate your prescription before Dr. Filips sees you. The auto refractor allows Ann to measure a prescription for the very young and others unable to respond to conventional vision testing.

Ann is in charge of auditing our accounts to be sure your order is billed and paid accurately.

Ann is also in charge of the lab. She selects all inventory and orders glasses and contacts for you. She is expert at helping people select stylish glasses that also wear well. She also adjusts and repairs your glasses. Ann is enthusiastic about all of the new lens technologies such as anti-reflection coatings and the new Tru-Clear XD invisible bifocal that allows you to see better than ever. Ann has personally undergone Vision Therapy and can talk to you about how much it improved her life.

Ann selects the new styles of frames that we carry. Stop in to see her on Tuesday or Thursday in Creighton and see what she recommends for you.
